Meet Frank
I have been involved with the breeding of show poultry with my father Ernest and brother Anthonie since my childhood. Later years I got married and the family expanded and today my son Edwin and daughter Anri enjoy the chicken hobby with me. I can also say that without my wife Zania's support I would never have progressed so far with my hobby.
My poultry hobby is an integral part of my compassion and humanness and has been developed over 30 years from knowledge and experience in practice and from theory to an intensive breeding, selecting and showing of many chicken breeds.
My motto "Quite Frankly" is exactly how I've developed my hobby over the years. I always try to make the best bred chickens available to existing or prospective poultry breeders and I always like to share my knowledge and experience with people.
In doing so, I will continue this passion of mine to breed pure-bred chickens and improve the varieties for our future generations.
My involvement as a committee member and a former chairperson of Pretoria Poultry Club, as well as being a certified poultry judge and member of the Southern African Show Poultry Organisation, will keep me breeding genuine pure-bred show poultry for hopefully many years to come.
